The Research Area is supposed to provide an empirical context-sensitive basis for enhancing interreligious competence in teacher education. It is intensely cooperating with Prof. Dr. Anne Koch at the Zentrum Interreligiöses Lernen | Migrationspädagogik | Mehrsprachigkeit (

For a number of year, the Scholar of Religion Dr. Zrinka Stimac has been working on a project working on the project ‚Internationale Bildungsdiskurse – Religion im Fokus‘, dealing with the construction of religion in discourses of central international organizations dealing with education. This has interesting links to the SDG-initiatives of the KPH. The workshop in February 2021 was intended to contribute to these debates. It would be fascinating to further develope this cooperation.
