Since 09/21: Full Professor of School Improvement & Leadership at the University of Teacher Education Vienna/Krems

2015-present: Lecturer at the Karl-Franzens-University Graz, University of Innsbruck, Pädagogische Hochschule Vorarlberg, University of Salzburg, University of Vienna, and participation in teaching at the University of Oxford (Research Seminars).

03/20 - 02/21: University Professor for History Didactics at the University of Vienna, during WS 20/21 at the Institute of History, during SS 20 at the Center for Teacher Education, and the Institute for Economic and Social History (Visiting Professor).

12/19: Habilitation at Paris-Lodron University Salzburg, Venia for "History Didactics and Political Education." Title of the habilitation thesis: "Professional Beliefs of Austrian History Teachers and Historical Thinking."

09/18 - 02/20: Visiting Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford (Departement of Education), collaboration in the Teacher Education and Professional Learning Research Group and in the Subject Pedagogy Research Group (funded by the FWF and a Bridge Scholarship from the Habilitation Forum for Subject Didactics & Teaching Research at the University of Graz).

09/15 - 08/18: Post-Doc Researcher in the FWF project "Competence and Academic Orientation in History Textbooks" CAOHT, first at the University of Education Salzburg, then at the University of Salzburg.

2014 – 2015: Research Associate at the Central Office for History Didactics and Political Education (University of Teacher Education Salzburg).

2013 – 2017: Teacher of Political Education, History, and Spanish in Vienna, first at the International Business College Hetzendorf and then at the Vienna Business School.

2012: Ph.D. at Karl-Franzens-University Graz, doctoral thesis nominated by the Dean's office as the best work of the faculty for the Award of Excellence. Title of the doctoral thesis: "History Myths as Constitutive Elements of the Discourse on Hispanic America in School Textbooks."

2007 – 2012: Staff member at Karl-Franzens-University Graz, editorial work for the Yearbook for Latin American History – Anuario de Historia de America Latina (Institute of History), research assistant to Prof. Dr. Klaus Dieter Ertler (Institute of Romance Studies).
