As part of the current Discourse Series on religion and postcolonial theories, the Special Research Area Interreligiosity (SIR) as well as the Research Area Ethical and (Inter)Religious Education have organized a visit to the exhibition 'Strike a Pose' by Belinda Kazeem-Kaminski.

The Austrian artist and lecturer Belinda Kazeem-Kaminski was personally present at this visit. She is this year's winner of the Otto-Maurer-Fonds and has repeatedly been dealing with questions of the colonial past and its racist aspects.

The exhibition therefore deals with central aspects of this semester's Discourse Series. The discussions revolved around the question of the verbalisation of violence and the logics of artistic and scientific expression.

The exhibition is open until 4 February 2024.
