On March 15th 2024, the Österreichische Gesellschaft für Religionswissenschaft / Austrian Association for the Academic Study of Religion organizes a workshop on 'Learning about Religion' in Austria.

In the school year 2021/22, ethics lessons were introduced in Austria as an alternative compulsory subject to religious education. The workshop addresses the question what contribution Religious Studies can and should provide to ethics lessons and religious education in ethics lessons.

Participants include: Prof. Dr Wanda Alberts, Prof. Dr Elisabeth Zissler, Prof. Dr Karsten Lehmann and MinR Mag. Manfred Wirtitsch.
