In cooperation with Prof Dr. Ansgar Jödicke (University of Fribourg / CH) and Prof. Dr. Christian Meyer (Free University of Berlin / D), Prof. Dr. Karsten Lehmann edited an thematic issue of the 'Zeitschrift für Religion, Gesellschaft und Politik' entitled 'Religion, Party and Fraction'.

The thematic issue brings together a number of text that have been presented within the context of a workshop organized at the Free University of Berlin. It raises the question how to best describe the power relations within religious organizations and communities. To make its points it presents articles on Europe an Asia.
