The Convention of Bavarian Pastors in School Education takes place every two years. This year, it addressed the question: Religious education: an oasis of democratic thought or a breeding ground for authoritarian delusions?
Prof. Dr. Lehmann was part of a panel alongside Prof. Dr. Reiner Anselm (LMU Munich), Mag. Laila Riedmiller (FAU Erlangen) and Dr. Jürgen Belz (Centre for Religious Education, Heilsbronn). In his presentation, Prof. Lehmann addressed the topic ‘Religion and politics: Suggestions for differentiation’. Furthermore, Karsten Lehmann led a workshop dealing with interreligious encounter-learning: religious and ethics education within the framework of an interreligious encounter-day.
