For almost a decade, Prof. Dr Karsten Lehmann has been working intensively on the role of religions in the context of international relations. For the past five years, he has also been working on the concept of Global Citizenship Education - as part of the IMPAKT initiative.
The workshop at the UNESCO-conference is organized within this framework. It provides insights into how religion(s) have become a topic within the framework of the UN and UNESCO and discusses what this means for current educational debates.
