The American Academy of Religion (AAR) is the world's largest national professional organisation for the Academic Study of Religion. The tasks of the unit speakers consist in particular of coordinating the unit's contributions to the AAR's annual conferences - and (for the past year) the corresponding US-wide online conferences. ‘It was very exciting to help shape the international debates on the religious landscape in Europe over this period of time,’ says Karsten Lehmann.
