Within the context of a panel on "The Role of Christianity in present-day Society", Prof. Dr. Karsten Lehmann will discuss present-day trends with Prof. Dr. Markus Knapp and Prof. Dr. Hans Joas. The discussion will be moderated by Christine Haiden.

The panel intends to bring together the perspective of Theology, Sociology and the Academic Study of Religion. All the presenters will refelect upon the socio-cultural location of religion in present-day Austria.
