The traveling exhibition emerged out of a research project undertaken by the Special Research Focus. It sketches a detailed picture of religious plurality during the 1920s and 1930s in Vienna. The exhibition helps to understand the emergence of religion as a marker for state prosecution as well as the practical ways in which pupils dealt with this situation during the inter-war period.
